Ashleigh Ball, a Vancouver-based voice artist, has provided the voices of a variety of classic cartoon characters, including the Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake, Cinderella, and others. Ashleigh had no idea when she was hired to voice Apple Jack and Rainbow Dash for Hasbro's fourth My Little Pony series, My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic, that she would become an Internet sensation and a major celebrity to a worldwide fan base of grownups. Bronies are bonded by their shared belief in the philosophy of the show. This film provides an inside look at the Pony fandom as well as an intimate look at the courage it takes to just be yourself...even if that means liking a children's cartoon.
