A young boy in New York City, aged 12, is tasked with organizing the best possible Bar Mitzvah. These intentions, however, are derailed when he learns that his parents are getting a divorce and that they would be relocating to the opposite side of the country. How is he going to have the amazing Bar Mitzvah he's always dreamed of when he doesn't even have any friends and his parents aren't even on speaking terms with one other?
