Zeke and Luther is an animated sitcom on Disney XD about two best friends who want to be the best skateboarders in the world. Hutch Dano, Adam Hicks, Daniel Curtis Lee, and Ryan Newman are among the cast members of the show. The series is set in Gilroy, California, notably in the fictional Pacific Terrace neighborhood, which is mentioned several times during the series. Even Stevens, a Disney Channel sitcom developed by Zeke and Luther co-creator Matt Dearborn, mentioned Gilroy on occasion. In early June, two weeks before the show's television launch, the episode "Bros Go Pro" was made available to download for free on iTunes. In the United States, the show debuted on June15, 2009. Zeke and Luther was renewed for a third season on August2,2010, with the launch date set for February28, 2011. Matt Dearborn revealed that the show's third season would be its final in an interview with Deadline.com on June18, 2011. The show is presently the longest-running original series on Disney XD and the first to reach its third season. On April2,2012, the series' one-hour conclusion aired.
