Wonderland

Peter Berg was the director of the short-lived and controversial television drama Wonderland, which aired on ABC in 2000. It presented the day-to-day activities that take place at a mental hospital from the points of view of both the medical staff and the patients. During its initial run on ABC in the year 2000, there were only two episodes that were broadcast. Beginning on January 14, 2009, DirecTV broadcast all eight episodes of the show on the 101 Network, one of their channels. The presentation presented a number of contentious viewpoints, many of which were controversial, regarding the mental health epidemic and its treatment. The series was one of the 60 shows that were featured on TV Guide's 2013 list of programs that were "Cancelled Too Soon."
