Todd Cahoon, a former Miss Universe, played Torres' bioterrorist fiance, who was torn between her and her bodyguard. Additionally, Casper Van Dien and Catherine Oxenberg acted as villains in the film A DVD or Blu-ray release of this series has yet to be confirmed by 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. Original broadcaster Telefe distributes a 64-episode run of the show throughout Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. Promotional material portrays the show as an amalgamation of Hollywood and Latino styles. The show debuted in Slovakia on TV Markza in July 2009, replacing Latin American telenovelas in that time slot, however it was a commercial failure.
