Wacky Races
Hanna-Barbera is the company that makes the American animated TV show Wacky Races. The show was based on the slapstick comedy movie The Great Race, which came out in 1965. Eleven different cars race against each other in road rallies all over North America, with each driver hoping to win the title of "World's Wackiest Racer." From September 14, 1968, to January 4, 1969, CBS showed Wacky Races. There were 17 episodes made, and each one was about two different races. The cartoon had an unusually large number of regular characters. The 11 race cars were filled with 23 people and animals. The show is being shown over and over again on Boomerang, Cartoon Network's channel for older cartoons.
