The Mistress
British sitcom The Mistress aired on BBC2 for three seasons between 1985 and 1987. Carla Lane wrote the screenplay for the Felicity Kendal and Jane Asher starrer. When Kendal appeared in The Mistress, she played Maxine, a young florist who had an illicit relationship with a married man (played by Jane Asher). Some viewers were displeased to see Felicity Kendal, widely recognized for her role as Barbara Good, playing a woman who had sex with another guy in the movie.
