The Middleman
The Middleman is a series that airs on American television. The Middleman is a comic book series that was originally published by Viper Comics and was co-authored by Javier Grillo-Marxuach and Les McClaine. Javier Grillo-Marxuach adapted the series for television and made it for ABC Family. In 2008, the show only aired for a single season. The order was originally confirmed for an initial 13 episodes; however, due to low ratings, it was trimmed to a season consisting of only 12 episodes. It was stated in February 2009 that a comic book will be based on the unproduced 13th episode, which served as confirmation that the series would not continue. The Middleman - The Doomsday Armageddon Apocalypse was first made available to the public in July of 2009 under the marketing slogan "series finale." On July 28, 2009, Shout! Factory released the whole series on DVD as part of a box set.
