The Good Wife
Former lawyer Kyoko Hasumi (Takako Tokiwa) has left her work to become a housewife and mother. Her husband works for a prestigious prosecutor's office. He is the head of the Tokyo District Prosecutor's Office's special investigative department, but he is charged with corruption and detained. There is also a scandal involving another woman. Kyoko Hasumi's "good wife" status begins to shift. She decides to return to work as a lawyer in order to defend her children. For the first time in 16 years, she is recruited on a temporary basis at a law firm and begins working as a lawyer.
