Mitch Schauer produced the American animated television series The Angry Beavers for the Nickelodeon channel. Daggett and Norbert Beaver, two young beaver brothers who have left their home to become bachelors in the forest outside Wayouttatown, Oregon, are the protagonists of the series. The premiere of the show in the United States occurred on April 19, 1997. When the Nickelodeon Canada channel debuted on November 2, 2009, the show began broadcasting. The series premiered on TeenNick's The '90s Are All That block on October 7, 2011, as a part of the block's U Pick with Stick lineup. The sitcom was also nominated for a U Pick with Stick showdown on The '90s Are All That for the weekend of February 3, 2012, but lost against Rocko's Modern Life and was therefore not broadcast. The series was added to the Sunday lineup of TeenNick's The '90s Are All That on February 10, 2013, and ran through March 3, 2013. The series returned on TeenNick's The '90s Are All That on March 25, 2013, but has since been removed from the lineup. Currently, the series is also being released on DVD.
