Tatau
Tatau follows Kyle and Budgie, two pals in their early twenties from London who decide to embark on a trip across the world. Kyle gets a tattoo in the form of a Maori chief in anticipation of their arrival in the Cook Islands, which will serve as their last destination. While swimming in a lagoon, Kyle comes across the body of a local girl named Aumea, which is found tied up underwater. When Kyle and the police go back to the lagoon where she was found dead, he discovers that her body has been removed. On the other hand, Kyle is aware of what he witnessed. Desperate to discover out what took place, Kyle and Budgie find themselves dragged deeper and deeper into a world of Maori tales, symbols, and hallucinatory visions... until the whole significance of Kyle's tattoo is eventually revealed.
