Wei Yingluo, a sharp and clever young woman, works as a seamstress in the palace to learn the truth about her older sister's death. Yingluo, believing the imperial guard Fucha Fuheng is her sister's murderer, purposefully attracts the attention of his sister, Empress Fucha, and is successfully sent to Changchun Palace as a maid. She gradually realizes that the Fucha siblings are honest and kind-hearted people, and she develops romantic feelings for Fuheng.
