State of Georgia is a situation comedy that airs on American television. Raven-Symoné, Majandra Delfino, and Loretta Devine star in the film. Raven-Symoné plays as Georgia, an aspiring actress with a larger-than-life personality, and her scientific nerd best friend Jo, who are attempting to achieve career and personal progress in New York City. From June 29 through August 17, 2011, the series aired on ABC Family. 1.32 million people watched the pilot episode. Due to low ratings, ABC Family canceled State of Georgia on September 16, 2011.
