Stand Up for the Week is a Channel 4 comedy show that features stand-up comedians reacting to current events. The show premiered on Friday nights in June 2010 with a six-episode first season, then moved to Saturday nights in March 2011 for the second season. Patrick Kielty hosted the inaugural season, which featured regular performers Jack Whitehall, Kevin Bridges, Andi Osho, and Rich Hall. For the second season, Bridges took over as host from Kielty, while Jon Richardson was added as a regular performer. Apart from Rich Hall's return, Richardson took over as host for the third series, which aired in late2011, and an entirely new cast of regulars joined the show: Seann Walsh, Sara Pascoe, Josh Widdicombe, and Paul Chowdhry. Andrew Lawrence took over from Rich Hall for the fourth series. Chowdhry will take over as host for the fifth season, however it is unclear who will succeed him or whether any other regulars have been removed.
