TV show Splash! follows celebrities as they attempt to learn the skill of diving. An Olympic-sized diving pool is used each week to put the celebrities through their paces, with the outcome of each week's show partially decided by the public vote. Team GB Olympic diver Tom Daley serves as a coach to the celebs on the show, with Gabby Logan and Vernon Kay. Inspire: Luton Sports Village, located in Stopsley, Luton, is where the filming takes place. 5.6 million viewers tuned in to watch the show launch on ITV on Saturday, January5,2013, and the network had a 23.6 percent share of the time slot. While watching Splash, ITV viewers were treated to the highest new entertainment ratings in five years. In the Netherlands, Eyeworks established the Celebrity Splash! franchise, which was televised on SBS 6 as Sterren Springen Op Zaterdag. At Riverside City College's Riverside Aquatics Complex, and Pasadena's Rose Bowl Aquatic Center, Splash premiered on ABC on March19, 2013. American diving great Greg Louganis and 2012 Olympic 10 m diving winner David Boudia serve as judges in the US version. In Australia, the Seven Network has also ordered Celebrity Splash! for 2013 airing.
