Slayers
In Slayers, we follow the adventures of a young sorceress named Lina Inverse, whose existence is centered on acquiring food, treasure, and victories in battle. Lina is confronted by stragglers on her way to the next town after she has successfully stolen treasure from a group of bandits. Even though she isn't in any genuine danger, a bumbling swordsman with a nice heart named Gourry Gabriev comes to her aid regardless. The two decide to work together and make their way to Atlas City while engaging in combat with various adversaries along the route. Lina and Gourry are unaware of the fact that two shadowy creatures are following on their heels, and that these figures are particularly interested in the "prize" that Lina and Gourry have secretly taken.
