Rectify
Daniel Holden, who spent 19 years on Death Row for the rape and murder of his adolescent girlfriend, has been released. Due to fresh DNA evidence, his conviction has been overturned and he is free to go. Prison may be as harsh on him as it was on him in the first place, but now the world he has left behind is completely unfamiliar to him. Daniel is plagued by the past, tainted by the present, and unsure of what lies ahead. Upon his return home, his family's fragile harmony is threatened as he tries to adjust to his new life in a tiny town. Daniel's claimed crime caused a rift in the community.
