Mobile Suit Gundam SEED
Humanity has evolved into two subspecies in this era: Naturals, who live on Earth, and Coordinators, who are genetically-enhanced humans capable of withstanding the rigors of space and live in orbital colonies. The plot centres around a young Coordinator named Kira Yamato, who becomes entangled in the fight between the two species after the Coordinators invade a neutral space colony.
