Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense

Short-lived anthology series from Hammer Studios, "Hammer House of Mystery and Suspense." The Mystery and Suspense series was similar in concept to the 1980 series Hammer House of Horror, although the feature-length episodes were usually roughly 70 minutes long without commercial breaks. As Fox Mystery Theater, the series was co-produced by Hammer Studios and 20th Century Fox Television. Every episode featured an American actor, as opposed to British actors who played significant roles in Hammer House of Horror during the 1980s. ITV showed it in the UK in 1984, although it wasn't simulcast and ran at different timeslots in different regions of the country.
