Riki Lindhome and Kate Micucci star as themselves and their musical comedic alter-egos, "Garfunkel and Oates," in Garfunkel and Oates, which follows the duo as they try to expand the horizons of their small popularity. Micucci and Lindhome met at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in Los Angeles, where they named their band after "two great rock-and-roll second bananas," Art Garfunkel and John Oates. Riki and Kate blast taboos and perform tongue-in-cheek songs about their miserable existence as single, late-20-something Los Angelinos in five bite-sized episodes.
