Fruits Basket
Tohru Honda is a 16-year-old orphan who is invited to live in the home of her classmate, the gorgeous boy Sohma Yuki, and his cousins, Kyo(16) and Shigure (27). However, these young men and parts of the remainder of their family (both close and distant) are cursed; if they are hugged by the opposing gender, they transform into animals from the Chinese Zodiac. Every day is an experience for Tohru as she learns to know everyone in the extended family (particularly Yuki and Kyo) better in both ordinary and odd scenarios. But the Sohma Family curse is not to be laughed at; it also contains horrifying cruelty and misery.
