Frontier is an American Western anthology show that aired on NBC from September 1955 to September 1956. The series puts less emphasis on gunplay and more on the dangers of settling the American West. It was only the second anthology Western show on TV, after Death Valley Days. Frontier first aired on September 25, 1955, and in its last five months, it was on only sometimes. Walter Coy narrated the series and starred in some of the episodes, which are dramatizations of real events. The program was made by Worthington Miner.
