Kang Soo is a loan shark who struggles to survive from day to day in the disheartening world that he lives in. Because of his father's maltreatment, his mother was forced to flee the family home. He started working for Hwang Tae Bok because his father had an insurmountable amount of debt. He was not permitted to experience joy. This was something that he deeply regretted. His only hope is to one day reunite with his mother and lead a joyful life. On the other hand, this cannot occur in his life. It doesn't matter how hard he tries, he just can't escape the nightmare that is his reality. Just as he was about to give up on his life, he comes across a leaflet that asks, "Do you want to become happy?" He decides to give it a shot, and it turns out that he is able to escape his nightmare. He decides to go to the research facility in the hopes that he may find some joy there, despite the fact that he is not holding out much hope. On the other hand, he finds out that happiness comes with a hefty price tag of 300 thousand dollars. He comes to the conclusion that he should rob Tae Bok of his money. Will he be able to find contentment in his life?
