Earth: The Power of the Planet

Dr. Iain Stewart, a geologist, hosts each episode of this show, in which he discusses the significance of a different natural phenomenon, such as wind or volcanism, as well as the effects that these phenomena have. In addition to this, he investigates the myriad of ways in which it molds the planet earth itself and exerts an influence over the life that exists on it. This occurs frequently in conjunction with other natural forces and occasionally with lifeforms, such as in the "apocalyptically" grave case of global warming.
