Ten years have passed since Goku abandoned his friends and family to improve his talents. However, Goku quickly finds himself defenseless in the face of the mystical might of the Dragon Balls and an unintentional wish made by the cunning Emperor Pilaf. The wish is for Goku to revert to childhood! Not deterred by this minor setback, Goku, Trunks, and his own granddaughter Pan shoot off into space in search of the enigmatic Blackstar Dragon Balls. But these Dragon Balls contain a deadly flaw: if they are not collected within a year, the Earth will be destroyed.
