Defying Gravity
Defying Gravity is a multi-nationally produced space travel science fiction television drama series that premiered on ABC and CTV on August2, 2009 and was canceled in the fall of 2009. The series is set in the year 2052 and follows eight astronauts from four nations as they embark on a six-year trip through the Solar Technology while being monitored from Earth via a real-time communication system. Grey's Anatomy in space was the series' pitch to networks. Before the series was canceled, thirteen episodes were made, but only eight were broadcast on ABC. However, the entire run was broadcast in other countries and online.
