On the day of Itsuki's high school graduation, his cousin Mahiru informs him that she is pregnant. The two are then transported into the land of Granvania via a light gate. In this world, "Impurities" have been disturbing the Stars, eventually throwing Granvania into anarchy. And Itsuki, who is now revealed to be destined to meet the "Star Maidens," is regarded as Granvania's final hope and tasked with producing "Star Children" and combating "impurities." Itsuki may never be able to return home if the mission is not accomplished.
