Chowder is a C.H. Greenblatt-created American animated television series for Cartoon Network. The sitcom depicts an aspiring young chef named Chowder and his daily exploits as an apprentice at Mung Daal's catering business. Due to his incessant hunger and scatterbrained personality, Chowder regularly finds himself in difficult situations despite his good intentions. He is constantly harassed by Panini, the apprentice of Mung's rival Endive, who wants him to be her "lover," something he detests. The series is created using both standard animation and stop-motion puppet sequences, which are intercut into the episodes and run over the end credits. Chowder debuted on November2,2007, and aired for three seasons with a total of 49 episodes. Throughout its run, it was nominated for one Primetime Emmy Award, six Annie Awards, and two more Emmy Awards. The series conclusion, titled "Chowder Grows Up," aired on August7,2010, and featured C.H. Greenblatt as the adult Chowder's voice.
