Boo!
A children's television show in the United Kingdom, Boo! is aired on CBeebies as well as BBC Two. Several cartoon figures take part in a game of hide and seek in various locations. Children and an adult narrator perform the remarks. Independent production company Tell-Tale Productions, which also worked on Tweenies, was behind the series. Qubo aired reruns of the show from 2011 to 2012 in the United States. For the seasons 2002-03, it was nominated for a BAFTA Award for Outstanding Comedy Series for its 104 episodes (plus a Christmas special). Songs on matching characters and items to their shapes and colors are sung at the end of the show.. As a result of the use of 3D CGI and cel-shading, the aesthetic of Boo! is immediately recognizable to fans. The band's sound is reminiscent of early '70s funk and R&B.
