From September18,1992, through December27,1993, CBS broadcast an American situation comedy called Bob. The Bob Newhart Show and Newhart were Bob Newhart's two previous comedy leading roles on the network, however this one was a failure. It was written by the trio of Bill Steinkellner, Cheri Steinkellner, and Phoef Sutton. Produced by Paramount Television, the show was a hit with audiences nationwide. On April3,2012, DVDs of all 33 episodes were released.
