Appare-Ranman!
Throughout the back-end of the 19th century, the genius but socially uncomfortable designer Sorano Appare and the wise yet afraid samurai Isshiki Kosame find themselves wandering in the sea in between Japan and America. Without any cash, the duo determine to go into the Trans-America Wild Race to win the cash prize so they can get residence. Both experience opponents, outlaws, and also difficulties in the wilderness as they race through America, from the starting line in Los Angeles to the goal in New york city, in the steam-powered automobile they built.
