The first season was produced from June 2 to December 19, 2008. The first season ran from February 13 through November 27, 2009, on Disney XD. Disney announced on May 5, 2009 that the show had been renewed for a second season. Kelly Blatz stated via Twitter that the second season's production began on June 22, 2009. On November 11, 2009, in a Live Ustream session with J. P. Manoux, Tania Gunadi, and Bruce Kalish, it was revealed that Aaron Stone will not be renewed for a third season, and that its second season would be its final. The explanation cited was that Disney XD has decided to prioritize live-action content that focuses mostly on comedy. This announcement was made prior to the conclusion of the first season in the United States. The total number of episodes produced for the second season, which premiered on February 24, 2010, was 14. The final eight episodes were broadcast between June 16 and July 30, 2010. In 2012, Disney XD stopped airing Aaron Stone reruns in the United States.
