3 South

3 South is an MTV animated series from the United States. Sanford and Del, two lifelong friends, were the focus of the show, which followed their experiences at the fictional Barder College. Almost everyone at Barder is ignorant and inept, with the exception of their roommate Joe. Despite this, the series' heroes are dumb, irresponsible, and thoughtless Sanford and Del, while the responsible, intelligent Joe is the de facto villain in most episodes. Mark Hentemann and Steve Callaghan, longtime Family Guy writers, devised the series based on a short film they had made years before. Warner Bros. Animation has created only one animated series for MTV to date. The Flaming Lips' song "Fight Test" from the album Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots serves as the show's theme music.
