Z
In this short satirizing 1960s Greek government, repression is the order of the day. Leftist provocateur Z is killed in what appears to be a road accident. Given the current political atmosphere, however, the passing of a renowned activist raises troubling questions. A postmortem study reveals that the ruling party was responsible for Z's death, even if it is too late to save his life. Those who tell the truth pay a price for their candor as facts seep out.
