In the game of baseball, Calvin Campbell was sent home early because of his panic attacks at the plate. This is even though he has all the skills to play in the big leagues. He just can't handle life's surprises. Today, he sleepwalks through his days and the difficult job of raising his teen daughter. His life is going downhill at a very slow pace until he meets Produce, a young man with Down syndrome who works at the local grocery store.
