In this story, an old man dies while he is under hypnosis. He is stuck in a limbo between this world and the world after this. When the door is opened, the undead try to get in, but they can't. This is the story of Rodd Usher, an alcoholic photographer and artist. After killing a cat that his girlfriend Annabelle brought home, Usher goes into a rage and goes crazy. One murder leads to another, and then the complicated cover-ups start to take place.
