Twelve Monkeys
In2035, criminal James Cole volunteers to go back in time to uncover the origin of a deadly virus that wiped out most of the world's population and forced survivors underground. Cole is imprisoned and committed to a mental institution after being accidentally transferred to 1990 instead of 1996. There he meets psychiatrist Dr. Kathryn Railly and patient Jeffrey Goines, son of a famous virus expert, who may hold the secret to the Army of the 12 Monkeys, responsible for unleashing the lethal sickness.
