Co-conspirators Gaston Monescu and Lily are thieves who also happen to be friends. During their time working for perfume company CEO Mariette Colet, the two crooks decide to pool their resources in order to rob their boss. Gaston exploits his position as Mariette's personal secretary to get closer to her, going by the pseudonym of Monsieur Laval to accomplish this. The situation becomes dangerous when he falls in love with Mariette and finds himself forced to choose between her and Lily.
