It's a very personal, mixed-media documentary about Tig Notaro, a LA-based stand-up comic who changed the course of her career with a poignant stand-up set that became legendary overnight. In this documentary, we follow Tig's incredible journey as her career takes off and her life changes in big and unexpected ways, all the while she is still fighting for her health and finding love. This movie is a mix of comedy and drama, and it shows a personal story about how to deal with a crisis with honesty and grace, and how comedy can help people deal with their pain and suffering by making them laugh, too. Story: It is about moving on when you don't know what's going to happen. When you are willing to risk everything for what you think is right and what you want to happen in this life.
