When Helena Harris (Diane Neal) visits Stone's Throw to film her latest movie, "This Magic Moment," she develops an odd connection with local video store owner Clark Gable (David Strathairn) (Travis Schuldt). Helena asks her new buddy Clark to pretend to be her love interest in order to make "This Magic Moment" co-star Roberto Molinez (Vincent Spano) envious. For her support in his screenplay career in return, Clark accepts. Clark and Helena's agreement helps both of them, but it also complicates Clark's relationship with Emily McIntyre, his recently divorced ex-girlfriend (Alaina Huffman). Clark is torn between his respect for the famed beauty and his affections for his high school sweetheart as director Doyle Duncan (Charles Shaughnessy) begins to wrap up production. Who will be the one to whom he may finally say "I do"?
