The Wiz
A Thanksgiving dinner gathers a large family in a Harlem apartment where Dorothy Gale (Diana Ross), a 24-year-old schoolteacher, lives with her Aunt Em (Theresa Merritt) and Uncle Henry (Stanley Greene). She is extremely introverted and has "never been south of 125th Street," as Aunt Em teases her, and refuses to move on with her life.
