Jon is on a perilous mission as an International Security Affairs agent, escorting a criminal scientist to another country. On the way, one of his team members reveals himself to be a traitor and shoots Jon in the head while capturing the scientist. When Jon regains consciousness in the hospital, he is informed by a doctor that the bullet in his head will result in complete paralysis within weeks. Jon comes to Beijing to visit his mother, who reveals that Jon has a brother in Malaysia who was raised by his gambling father. Jon flies to Malaysia in search of his younger brother, Yeung. On the plane, he develops a friendship with Dr. Kan, who offers to research potential remedies for his ailment. When they arrive, Yeung attempts to kidnap the doctor, and Jon is taken captive as well. The two quickly discover they are brothers and choose to collaborate in order to prevent the crooks responsible for the kidnappings from reinfecting the world with a sickness long thought to be eradicated.
