Donovan sneaks into the woods with his girlfriend, Lucy, and a slew of buddies in the middle of the night. Their hopes for Lucy's cancer cure are put into jeopardy when a booby-trap in the road forces them to turn around and head back the way they came. Bystanders see him being dragged out of the automobile by his hands. Terrified of the paramilitary commandos and the vicious animals who killed their pals, the remaining buddies flee to a remote cabin. One by one, the friends understand that Donovan has used them as bait in exchange for a magic elixir that can heal Lucy, but even Donovan is unwilling to pay the price for Lucy's recovery as they all die.
