The Serpent and the Rainbow
Unknown powder, said to have the ability to bring human people back from the dead, is discovered in Haiti, and a Harvard anthropologist is dispatched to retrieve it. While on his quest to discover the miraculous drug, the cynical scientist is drawn into a realm of walking zombies, blood rites, and ancient curses that is rarely seen by the general public.
