The movie focuses on the ventures of an investigative agency in Hong Kong called Mannix Private Detective Agency. It is headed by private detective Wong Yeuk Sze (Michael Hui) with his emotionally drained pipes aide Puffy (Ricky Hui). Meanwhile, Lee Kwok Kit (Samuel Hui), a kung fu professional, who works at a Vitasoy plant factory and also invests the majority of the moment doing kung fu tricks to impress a woman, ultimately loses his job. Seeking to find another type of work, Lee attempts to signs up with Wong's investigative agency. In spite of Lee's impression with his kung fu talent which includes his taking technique, Wong was not pleased. Then, as it appears that Lee would certainly not obtain the job, Wong discovers that his pocketbook was missing out on and also was assumed stolen by one bystander that encountered them. Lee intercepts him and recoups the pocketbook, hence amazed Wong to hire him for the job.
