The People vs. Fritz Bauer
It's the late 1950s. Germany, which is thriving thanks to the economic miracle, is becoming increasingly apathetic toward confronting the horrors of its recent past. Nonetheless, Fritz Bauer persists in his efforts to bring the Third Reich to justice. Bauer one day receives a letter from Argentina, written by a man convinced that his daughter is dating Adolph Eichmann's son. Excited by the promising lead and wary of a corrupt judiciary where Nazis still lurk, Bauer travels to Jerusalem to seek an alliance with Mossad, Israel's secret service. This is treason, but it is the only way Bauer can serve his country.
