The Party's Just Beginning
After her best friend commits herself in the middle of a dismal Inverness winter, Luisaidh finds herself on the verge of going off the rails. It is only via joyless sex, chips, and the belief in the power of positive drinking that she is able to cope with her depression and unhappiness. As she strives to find someone to talk to or a cause that makes life worthwhile during the most difficult time of the year, she is surrounded by bittersweet recollections of her past.
