In Oslo, two of artist Barbora Kysilkova's most prized works are stolen from a gallery at Frogner, but the thief is never caught. After the trial, Barbora asks the thief for permission to paint him. This is the start of an odd friendship. It's a three-year journey as the artist searches for her stolen paintings while also creating art from a thief.
