The Monkey King
Sun Wukong is a magically endowed monkey, descended from a celestial stone. He travels to India with the monk Xuanzang after he rebels against heaven and is imprisoned under a mountain for 500 years. Thus, according to mythology, Buddhism is introduced to China in ancient times.
