The King of Staten Island
Scott's development stalled after his firefighter father died when he was seven. With little success, he is now in his mid-20s, chasing an unattainable goal of becoming a tattoo artist. Scott, who lives with his exhausted ER nurse mother, spends his days smoking pot, chilling with the guys (Oscar, Igor, and Richie), and covertly hooking up with his childhood pal Kelsey. A series of events forces Scott to confront his grief and take his first hesitant steps toward moving on in life when his mother begins dating a loudmouth firefighter named Ray.
